4 Steps To Take Care Of Your Chanel Bag

Everyone wants their precious designer bag to last as long as possible. With the right care, this is sure to succeed. We give you 4 tips to maintain your Chanel bag so that your Chanel bag will last a lifetime.

Stuffing Your Bag

It is important not to overstuff your bag, this will cause the shape of the bag to be taken out of context. But on the other hand, it is also strongly advised against putting too little in your bag. When not using it, always make sure the bag is nicely padded, for example with dust bags, or other soft material.

Light

Make sure the bag is not exposed too much to sunlight or artificial light. This will prevent discoloration and also prevent the leather from drying out. In addition, we also recommend avoiding prolonged contact with the bag to keep it as sparkling as possible.

Leather Care

Chanel bags mostly consist of caviar and lambskin leather. When wearing the bag, the leather becomes drier, especially if you do nothing with it. We recommend rubbing the bag with leather cream every few months to keep the leather supple and shiny. It is best to apply the cream to the surface of the bag in circular motions to avoid staining the leather. Always make sure to use colorless cream.

Water or Moisture

It can happen to anyone that the bag has come into contact with water or moisture, for example by rain. The best thing to do after the bag has come into contact with water and/or moisture is to dry the bag gently with a lint-free cloth.
